Sad to say, I heard rather the same sort of argument a number of times while serving on a board of a community symphony — sand the large amount. It was operating at an ever larger deficit while pressuring board members to guarantee the debt that caused me to leave. Then others, and now that community symphony is no more.
Perhaps others might find this animation amusing in some way, but i find it utterly accurate, and for this expect many music organizations to simply die of debt which cannot be met any longer. The writing is on the wall, and in the animation too.
Thanks for posting this, which I notice is barely attracting any comment.
