Yes, some songs drink deep from the sappiness well but the album always speaks to me, plainly and sincerely. When Dr. Teeth and the Mayhem Band take on &quot;Little Saint Nick&quot; or the Muppet cast sings &quot;Christmas is Coming&quot; there is a child-like silliness to these songs that help me remember simpler times. I was raised on Sesame Street, the Muppets and PBS in general and this album never fails to bring a broad smile to my face.
